“hey ottist paint dis !” In our exploration of pattern, color, and topography there is plenty of room for innovative and highly subjective work that can play off the surface and form that we have created. In this series of barstools we have developed a base geometry and a seat component that are comfortable, balanced , and easy to use – upon this canvas we have asked some artists and collaborators to take liberties with our piece and tag a set of four or five as a limited run series. The first image is that of the street artist Disto and represents a common theme in color and framework while the internal scenes are unique for each stool. As we say they have a common DNA but each piece in a series is a work of art and each series beautiful in combination.
